About this Event
What are your perceptions and beliefs on masculinity? ...How do you think our perceptions and beliefs on masculinity affect the lives of men and women differently?
Join us for an open and stimulating conversation 7pm, Thursday, September 19th at Wild Rose Brewery, in the Event Room, as we explore the above questions! We'd love to see you there to hear your thoughts and ideas. This event is open to all genders, and we're particularly interested in hearing from women-identifying individuals in Calgary.
This is one in a series of three conversations we are hosting. The first event on Sept 12th is particularly focused on conversations with men-identifying individuals, the second conversation on the Sept 19th is focused on conversations with women-identifying individuals. The third event on Oct 17 will be an open group for everyone to attend.
We acknowledge that gender is socially constructed and while our event on Sept 19th is seeking the perspectives of (women), it is open to anyone from gender diverse communities to attend. Feel free to join whichever gathering (Sept 12th or Sept 19th event) you feel more comfortable and/or more interested in engaging in a conversation around beliefs and perspectives of masculinity.
