You are invited to attend a foundational training organized by the Alberta Men's Network (AMN) on facilitating group sessions and working with men and community members on violence prevention, wellbeing and healthy communities.
Objectives of training:
1. To explore some important prerequisites and values for hosting community dialog and group sessions with men.
2. To discuss some best practices around facilitation and hosting community groups/dialogs.
3. To deepen our understanding of the impacts and causes of violence and sexual violence in our communities and ways we can prevent this.
Date/time: Friday, Sept 6th (5pm - 8:30pm) and Saturday, Sept 7th (10am - 5pm).
Venue: to be confirmed by the end of the week.
Cost: Free. Refreshments provided. You will receive a Certificate of participation at the end.
